Important Payment Processing Notice

Our payment processor (Finix) evaluates transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30) at the global checkout level, rather than treating each collaborator's revenue split as a separate transaction.

How it works: When an order is placed, the single fixed $0.30 processing fee is distributed proportionally across the items in the customer's cart. After the Finix processing fees and the FairFate platform fee are deducted from the gross total, the remaining net revenue is automatically distributed to collaborators based on their defined percentage splits. Individual collaborators are not charged independent fixed fees. However, to ensure that the smallest split payout remains mathematically viable (greater than $0.00 after proportional fee distribution), FairFate dynamically enforces a minimum pricing constraint for products with active collaborators.
