FairFate is a level 99 Robotic Supreme Overlord Wizard that can fabricate items. Forget the laws of equivalent exchange, let your imagination run wild!

Listing a new game should be easy, and not a chore. Lots of detail goes into a TTRPG —from the core files to all the metadata that helps players find it. I designed the Game Creation Wizard to guide you through this process step-by-step, making it easy to publish your work without missing anything important. It’s all about the flow~

THE PUBLISHING PROCESS: A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

The wizard breaks down game creation into five simple steps to ensure a complete and polished listing.

• Step 1: The Basics: Enter your game’s name, description, and tagline. You’ll also choose its type (e.g., Game, Book), game system, and access level (like Draft or Public).
• Step 2: Media & Files: Upload your core game files (like PDFs), add screenshots to your gallery, and link to a video trailer. This is also where our automated security scanning takes place on every file.
• Step 3: Pricing: Set up your payment model, whether it’s a fixed price, Pay-What-You-Want, or free. You can also configure and manage community copies here.
• Step 4: Publishing Settings: Control who can see your game, and schedule a future release date if you’re launching later. Set up for alpha releases, previews, and so on.
• Step 5: Review & Publish: A final check to make sure everything is perfect before your game goes live. The system runs a complete validation to verify all data and relationships are correct.

TTRPG-SPECIFIC DETAILS

Because FairFate is built for TTRPGs, the wizard lets you add specific details that players look for. This helps your game show up in the right searches and gives customers confidence in their purchase. You can specify:

• Adventure Length
• Playing Time (a range in hours)
• Number of Players (minimum and maximum recommended)
• Rule Heaviness
• GM Style

SECURE FILE UPLOADS

The safety of our community is non-negotiable. Every single file you upload is put through a comprehensive, multi-layer security scan. We check everything from the file extension and MIME type to running magic byte detection and content pattern analysis to identify and block potentially malicious files before they ever get to our storage, let alone a customer. All scan results are logged for a full audit trail. We also apply automatic compression to large files to reduce storage and download times.

NIFTY TIDBITS

• Auto-Creation: If you add a tag, genre, format, or language that’s new to the platform, the system automatically creates and links it for you.
• Community Copies: You can set up free copies for your game that are visible only to your community of followers. This is great for alpha releases or previews.
• Collaboration, Attribution, and Revenue Share: I heard y’all wanted more collaboration features! The best games and systems require multiple contributors to make, so I added a feature where you can add collaborators to your projects. As well as being fully attributed, you can set up revenue sharing, as a percentage split of income that they will earn. Since Circle is being used as the main payments pipeline, transactions can be easily, transparently, and freely split between multiple recipients, with fees split proportionally between contributors.
